My name is Lewis, some people call me the Ninja Drummist. Music is my life and I've been playing since I was 3 years old. My first instrument is Drums and I was taught by Freddie Wells. I also play Bass, Guitar and Piano.
I teach drums at Greenbank and Lea Manor High School. I play in a few bands: New Groove Formation, The Claret Sky, Jazz Allstars and a currently nameless Drum n Bass project.
I've also been working on a solo project featuring my other instruments called The Cloud9 Mission. Other bands I've worked with include Headfly, The Wellington Bootles, Magic Rising and Farouche.
I play a Yamaha Stage Custom Drum Kit with Zildjian K Cymbals and Regal Tip Sticks. In a perfect world (one where I'm not a struggling musician), I would love to own a DW Drum Kit! If any of these companies want to talk sponsorship, please get in contact!
I wish I led a more interesting life but, unless your a fellow musician, you'll probably be bored here lol. On the odd occasion that I'm not practicing teaching or gigging, I design web sites.
I love God, my family, my friends, music, teaching, talking, films and geeky japanese tokusatsu stuff.
If you wanna know more, then you'll have to send me a message cos I hate writing these things lol!
Here is a list of my current teaching qualifications and experience. I am currently studying for my ATCL Diploma with Trinity / Guildhall.
Please visit the Drum Lessons Page if you are interested in booking a lesson.
