Ive always found 1 / 1 one of the hardest linear patterns to play fast and smooth without it turning into flams, especially when leading with the left hand. 1 / 1 means to play one note with the hands and one note with the foot in a continuous pattern (in other words, playing a roll between the hands and feet).
