16. Single Paradiddle:
Two single strokes (para) followed by a double stroke (diddle). Often played with an accented note on the first single stroke.
When played in the form of a triplet, it is also known as "Para-Trips".
This rudiment was originally one of the Standard 26 American Drum Rudiments published by NARD.
