Alternating doubles strokes (i.e. RR LL, etc) of any speed or length leading with either hand. As with the Single Stroke Roll, it is usually played at faster tempi, but even when played slowly, alternating doubles strokes are considered a Double Stroke Roll. Each individual note should be heard distinctly.
