Here's some more Drum n Bass/Jungle stuff. Whilst watching my previous Drum n Bass video, I noticed that it ceases to sound like real Drum n Bass if played to loud. Im trying to keep a lighter touch in this video and I think this makes it sound more like the real thing. This was entirely improvised and contains a few mistakes here and there. Ah, warts and all as they say

Im mostly using tips and tricks Ive picked up watching Jojo Mayer, Johnny Rabb and KJ Sawka. Check them out if you have not already!

Technique wise its mostly all Moeller Technique for the fast accented 16ths and a bit of Finger Control/Push-Pull for the singles and doubles. Im also using Freehand Technique to achieve one handed rolls whilst manipulating the sound of the drums with the other hand.

The kit Im playing has sadly seen better days. Its the practice/teaching kit at work and its in dire need of some new skins. But hey, a bad workman blames his tools.
