Paradiddle Grid Exercise

Paradiddle Grid Exercise Sheet Music

A great exercise for improving your control when accenting the Paradiddle. It applies a basic 16th note "Grid" to the Paradiddle sticking.

A Grid is an accent pattern / exercise that eventually accents each partial of a rudimental sticking pattern. For example, the first line of a basic Grid accents the first stroke, the second line accents the second stroke, the third line accents the third stroke and so on. This accent pattern can be applied to many other rudiments.
