Berger Lesson 25

Berger Lesson 25 Rudiment Sheet Music

A Paradiddle with a grace note double stroke (drag) on the second note.

This rudiment is named after it's originator Dr. Fritz Berger who is famous for bringing many of the Swiss Rudiments to our attention. He also devised a new notation system for the snare drum called the "Berger-Notation System" or "The Monolinear System of Notation". Here is an interesting article on Dr. Berger and his influence on our modern drum rudiment vocalbulary.

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever.
Amen.
