Two alternating notes where the first note is a grace note Drag and the second is accented. Strangely, this rudiment has more in common with Inverted Flam Taps. One would expect Single Drag Taps to follow the same sticking pattern as Flam Taps but the sticking is inverted to allow enough "space" for the Drags and to prevent having to play too many notes on the same hand.
This rudiment was part of the original Standard 13 American Drum Rudiments published by NARD where it was previously known as a "Single Drag".
